What is this place?
This is the place where I put writing of mine that isn't for publication: poetry, flash fiction, reflections. Bloggish things. Wim Wenders said that "any film that supports the idea that things can be changed is a great film in my eyes." I think this goes for any work of fiction, philosophy, or theology.
Why 70,000 fathoms?
Why 70,000 fathoms?
Back when I started this blog I was studying theology, Søren Kierkegaard in particular. He wrote, “If I wish to preserve myself in faith I must constantly be intent upon holding fast the objective uncertainty so as to remain out upon the deep, over seventy thousand fathoms of water.”
Why are you pretending that someone is asking you these questions?
Why are you pretending that someone is asking you these questions?
I don't know. I don't... know.
